My name is Madeline Willson, and I'm a senior at Kansas State University. I'm currently studying Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communications at the A.Q. Miller School of Media and Communication.

I have an avid interest in sports videography and broadcast, and I love using cameras. My interest in journalism was first sparked during high school when I joined a film photography class. No matter how frustrating it may have been to put hours of work into developing a print and discovering that it was somehow damaged, I always loved the experience. After that, I discovered broadcast and video cameras, and I fell in love.

I was born in Overland Park, Kansas, where I developed my passion for photography and videography. I attended Blue Valley North high school, where I first learned about photography.

I'm currently employed at K-StateHD.TV as a camera operator. I work with a crew of students to film and produce a live television broadcast of most of our sporting events at K-State.
I now live in Manhattan with my twin brother, where I'm studying to become a sports videographer. I hope to expand my journalism career in the coming years, and I'm excited for what the future may bring!
